I live outside of Belgium can I still participate in the programme?

The incubator is primarily focused on Belgian residents, but if you have a fantastic reason to participate, please fill out the application form and add it in the 'anything to add field'. We will look into this on a case by case basis. We are here for all of you and will be working on how to extend our programming to as many of you as possible!

I have already started my business, is this still for me

Yes, if you are still in the early stage of your business and if any of the subjects you see in the programme could bring value to you it most definitely is.

What if I can not participate in all sessions?

We ask you to be present for all sessions, but we know life happens and sometimes you just can't. We ask you to let us know and make sure it is exceptional.

How much time should I plan for this program each week?

The programme will take a minimum of 3 hours per week to attend or go through all workshop materials. When you build a business, as with everything, you'll get out what you put in, so the more time you dedicate (or can dedicate to it) the faster you'll be able to grow.

What if I'm building a non-profit?

In this programme, we're focusing on ideas and early stage business that have or will take a for-profit legal form. If yours is non-profit, please drop us a line, we're looking to do a cohort with non-profits and will keep you posted!

Who should apply?

The Odds Incubator is geared towards young aspiring or early-stage entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds who either have a business idea or are taking their first steps in developing their idea. Do you have a clear business idea or early-stage impact startup? Do you want to validate your business idea and/or strengthen your startup foundation? Are you between 18 and 30 years old? Then this programme is for you!

How will we select participants? Are there any selection criteria?

All applicants who meet the above outlined criteria will be considered. We are looking for promising ideas/founders or early-stage businesses that will take a for profit legal form. Applications close on January 17. That said, we will accept people on a rolling basis, so the earlier you apply, the higher your odds to get a spot in this cohort.

When and how will we participate? How is the programme structured?

Odds Incubator is a 4-month startup fast track for underrepresented founders, scheduled from 2 February to 25 May. Each week consists of an average of 2 hours of online training including tools to explore along. Online training will be held after 4 pm on Tuesdays (or occasionally on Thursdays.) Additionally we’ve built in bi-weekly online mentoring sessions (6-8 hours in total or 1 hour bi-weekly) by seasoned entrepreneurs, and bi-weekly process coaching and coworking hours at the Google Digital Atelier in Brussels. The online mentoring sessions will be scheduled according to yours and your mentor’s availability. Coworking hours at the Google Digital Atelier will be scheduled on Wednesdays from 10 am to 4 pm. The programme is designed to allow you to focus on running your business, while layering in support where needed.

What is the cost to participate?

Thanks to our partners, the Odds Incubator is a no cost, no equity programme. This means that participation is completely free of charge. We do ask for real commitment to the programme, our seats are limited and very valuable.

Can my team members participate?

This programme is founder focused. Only the founder and/or one additional co-founder can participate in the programme. If you have more than two founders, then please contact us via for more information.

How long do I have access to the materials?

How does lifetime access sound? All materials are forever yours.

Is the programme in English?

Yes! Although your main trainer is a native Dutch speaker (Born in the beautiful city of Ghent, Belgium) We’ve created the materials in English to make it as accessible as possible for everyone. If you are a Dutch/French speaker and you would want to do the process coaching sessions in Dutch/French then that is obviously not a problem at all.

Do I need prior knowledge to participate in this programme?

No, everyone can participate in this programme regardless of your current skills, background or experienc
